Christopher Kallhovd
General Manager - Instructor
Kristoffer is general manager at Viltgarden AS in Iveland. He has more than 20 years of experience from both animal husbandry, hunting and dog.
In addition, he has expertise that includes:
- Active service in municipal search and the local Afterlaw-Agder
- Operation of a dog boarding house since 2005.
- Training as a dog handler in the Armed Forces and served as a dog handler.
- Active training with German Shepherd dog aimed at obedience, rundering, search and IPO training/figurant.
- Been a leader in the Beagle ring Vest-Agder.
- Transfer of multiple dogs to approved search dog that is, and has been used in active duty.
- Conducted numerous courses in search, track, obedience, figurant and dressage.
- Aftersuit instructor and dressage instructor.
Eva Jeanette Olsen
Instructor
Eva runs Viltgården together with Kristoffer. She has 15 years of experience in animal husbandry and dog keeping, and has been hunting moose, deer and roe deer for the past 10 years. In addition, she has:
- Operated dog boarding house since 2005.
- Good expertise in dog equipment and nutrition.
- Actively worked with a dog for the past 15 years.
- A variety of courses in dog training in obedience and track work.
- Brought own dogs to an approved search dog.
- Aftersuit instructor and dressage instructor.

Hound
Dogs are part of the family community. For many, having a hunting dog is only an aid to the hunting season, but remember that throughout a long dog life, it is more of a family dog than a hunting dog.
Having a dog in the family can present many challenges especially for children. In order for one to succeed, it is important that children learn to understand themselves, and not just be told what to do.
A normal dog stable here varies and there are always a couple of young dogs in the pack. Over three generations we have developed a line of the type Norwegian Grey Elghund that has given us a lot of joy.
